We went out of town this past weekend to visit Bryan's parents in Virginia. Bean stayed at the
Doggie Spa and Daycare. This was her first time staying there and we were very impressed. When we picked her up, she was so happy! She clearly had a good time. Earlier today she got a bath with the works (nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, and
anal gland maintenance...don't click on that link unless you really want to know). After her bath, they dressed her in this shamrock bandanna, in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Bean has never worn a bandanna before. Doesn't she look so pretty?
Give me the cheese, I want the cheese, give me the cheese, I want the cheese, give me the cheese...
To get her to sit for this picture, Bryan stood off to the right and held up pieces of string cheese, which she got after each shot. I was able to take like twenty shots! I can never get her to sit still for that long by myself. Bryan may just have to become my official photographer's assistant!

Thought you might be willing to help - maybe do a post on your blog since you got such a tremendous response from the community when Bean was stolen.
HELP US FIND A DOG STOLEN FROM HER FOSTER HOME
There was a break in Friday night in a Durham home and the only things stolen were a few electronic items and ‘Gizmo’ a loving, 12 year old female Pekinese dog being fostered through the APS of Durham. ‘Gizmo’ was secure in her crate while her foster parents were out for the evening, but was missing when they returned.
A police report has been filed of the crime, which occurred in the S. Miami Blvd and I-40 area.
‘Gizmo” was surrendered by her previous owner on January 24th and went to a foster home in early February. ‘Gizmo’ is scheduled to go to an adoption event at PetSmart at Patterson Place on Sunday, where people can come meet adoptable dogs from the APS.
If anyone sees a dog that looks like this picture or notices a person who has a newly acquired older Pekinese dog that seems to be under suspicious circumstances, please notify police.
Further details will be available soon and possibly a reward will be offered for her safe return.
Please help us reunite ‘Gizmo’ with her foster home soon!
