I took this yesterday. Bean and I are on the bed, waiting for the start of the Friday Night Movie Festival. Well, I'm waiting. Bean is busy concentrating on the window behind the bed, scanning the yard for squirrels. Those are her "concentration ears." Bryan is busy returning phone calls.
I suppose I'm busy too. Busy watching them both and giggling.

Bean,
You look so precious when those ears lay back-well, actually, it's just one of your many precious looks! Looks like you're being a very good watch girl! I know Mom and Dad spoiled you with treats during the film festival! LOL

"Thanks Judy!
You never know when one of those squirrels will launch itself through the closed window and attack us. It's happened before. Sneaky, sneaky squirrels. Mom and Dad don't seem to understand the danger we are in, but that's why they have me, I guess!

Bean,
You are SUCH a good girl to always be on guard! Those pesky little squirrels - always have to be on the lookout, don't you! You're Mom and Dad are so lucky to have you to watch over them and be the protector of all things great and small - inside and out!
I know you are loving basking and napping in the sunlight these last few days, too! Being on guard all the time has to be hard work and you need those well-earned naps!
How is your house hunting going? Have you given your seal of approval yet?

Yes, Mom and Dad have found a house they like, and I have given My approval. We will all move in August. It will be a big change for me. I have only ever lived in one other house than this one, and I was just a tiny puppy then, so I don't remember it. But there is a big back yard full of things to chase and places to hide Mom's things.
(Mom and I like to play a game where when she is not looking, I grab her stuff, take it through the dog door, and hide it in the back yard. She has so much fun looking for it later on. It really is her favorite game I think, so I try to play it with her as much as I can.)
I can't wait for the move! It will all be blogged here, of course, so keep checking!
Thanks!

Bean,
I'm so happy you and your parents found a new house! August isn't that far off and I know you must be so excited to have some new territory to explore. You will have to go out in your present backyard and dig up any treasures you have tucked away so they can be moved to the new place! I'm sure you will be a great help in helping Mom and Dad pack in preparation for the big move! Moving is a lot of work and tons of boxes will appear out of nowhere, so you will have to help Mom and Dad as much as you can. I look forward to hearing how the move is progressing and how you are being such a good girl and helping out! You've got a busy summer ahead of you! It will be worth all the hard work and you can play hide and seek with Mom and Dad amongst the boxes!
You take care of Mom and Dad and be a good watch girl!
Judy
