Finally a photo....

I'm getting up. Just ten more minutes...

Here is a photo of Bean sleeping in the living room this afternoon. This is proof that we do indeed have her back. As you can see, she is healthy and settling back into her routine quite well. She has been pretty much sleeping non-stop since she got home. I couldn't even get her to get up off her blanket and move into the light for this picture. I ended up having to use the flash, which is why it's not such a pretty picture. I am sure the one the professional photographer took will be much, much better! He took a bunch of photos of us outside. Bean was sitting on her bench on the deck, and we were standing beside her petting her. After a few minutes, for no apparent reason, she got up and went back inside through her dog door. She is such a diva that she is actually walking off the set during photo shoots. We are so proud!

So, we reached the goal of $1000 in less than one day! At $1000 per day, Bean is now the breadwinner of the household. We are not going to tell her that, though. She is already letting her celebrity status go to her head.

It's so good to have her home.

I'm sure Bean is relishing catching up on her beauty sleep in familiar comfy surroundings! It's hard work being on your own when you're not used to it! Glad she is also being a diva! She knows she's loved far and wide, even though some of us have never even met her. Her story touched our hearts and even more so now that she has been reunited with her family. Such a happy ending!

Good night gorgeous Bean, good night Becky, good night Bryan. Dear Lord, thank you for protecting Bean and returning her to her parents. Once again, I know that all things are possible thru YOU, if we only believe. We believe...Amen.

We are so glad you got the money together! Bean must be so exhausted - was she outside, alone, all the time?

We are so happy!!! We visited your site many times, but not Sunday...grrrrrr. We heard tonight from our friend (and Ruis's fiance) Karl from the Cat Realm that Bean is home.

We read all the posts we missed, and are very glad she is healthy after her ordeal. I visited and checked your blog about Bean, so I owe you 1 dollar... but you also got the money together in one day. (Wow!! ) So if you don't mind I donated the one dollar (plus some extra dollars ) to Bruno, another doggy in need.

Why did you name her bean ; )
Just curious!

Thanks for the link to the bullcityrising article. Why does everyone always think Bean is a boy? I don't think she looks like a boy, do you?

Also, she was named Bean when we adopted her, and we liked it so much we just kept it!

Such great news! I remember meeting you on Berkeley street when you were going door to door with flyers. Since then my husband and I have been on the look out and have kept the flyer in our living room. What a happy ending!

From one family of animal lovers on Glendale to another, congratulations! We have kept our eyes open for Bean and are so happy she's home. What a sweet ending.

An article on Bean being back home is now on the N and O website, by the way.

Quick question - could the person who translated the flyer into spanish please translate a short message again? My partner and I handed out Spanish language flyers to several area Tiendas, and we would like to be able to stop back by and tell them we brought a flyer by last week, that after 8 days, Bean was found and returned home safely, thanks for spreading the information to help get her back home, and the flyer no longer needs to be posted.

I speak a little spanish, but don't trust myself to not say something completely outlandish or nonsensical in relaying this message. :-)

Hugs to the Bean Dog!
